Chon-Alai Ishker Aiymdary, led by Zhibek Turatbekova, is a sister association to Alai Ishker Aiymdary, focused specifically on the high-altitude Chon-Alai district. The association advocates for women artisans of the Pamir foothills, runs entrepreneurship and design training, and connects local craft groups with regional and international export channels. It is the natural local partner for EcoNomad’s most adventurous itineraries through the Pamir Highway and Lenin Peak base camp area.
