Ethno Mir Point — Albina Alimova

Crafts export

Karakol-based crafts exporter sourcing from artisan groups across the Issyk-Kul and Chuy regions.

Ethno Mir Point is the trading mark of Albina Alimova’s individual enterprise, a Karakol-based exporter of Kyrgyz handicrafts. With 3 in-house artisans and a network of partner workshops in the Issyk-Kul, Chuy and Osh regions, Ethno Mir Point coordinates production of felt rugs (shyrdaks), cushions, decorative panels, leather goods and felt slippers for clients in Europe and beyond. Albina’s role goes beyond trade: she helps small workshops adapt traditional designs for modern interiors, ensures fair prices for the artisans, and represents the cooperative side of Kyrgyz crafts at international fairs. EcoNomad partners with Ethno Mir Point for craft-themed tours that include workshop visits and master-class sessions in Karakol and surrounding villages.
