Chuy Region

Chuy Region is the most populous and economically important oblast of Kyrgyzstan, surrounding the capital Bishkek. Bordered to the south by the Kyrgyz Ala-Too range and to the north by Kazakhstan, the region combines fertile agricultural plains with quick access to alpine valleys including Ala-Archa National Park, Chong-Kemin and the Suusamyr plateau. Most international visitors begin and end their trip here.
