Osh
Osh is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Central Asia — over 3,000 years old. Its Sulayman-Too sacred mountain (UNESCO) rises straight from the centre of town, and the bustling Jayma Bazaar wraps around its base for nearly a kilometre. Osh is the southern gateway to Kyrgyzstan: by air from Bishkek, by road across Pamir Highway from Tajikistan, or by overland border from Uzbekistan's Fergana Valley.
