Osh Region

Osh Region in the south of Kyrgyzstan straddles the Pamir-Alay mountains and the Fergana Valley fringe. The regional capital Osh — at over 3,000 years old, one of Central Asia's oldest cities — anchors a network of trailheads to Lenin Peak (7,134 m), the Chon-Alay range, and the borders with Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The region combines high-mountain expeditions with bustling bazaars and Silk Road heritage.
