Tashkent

Tashkent is the capital and largest city of Uzbekistan and Central Asia's main international gateway. The historic centre was largely rebuilt after the 1966 earthquake into a planned Soviet capital, but pockets like Chorsu Bazaar, the Kukeldash Madrasa and the Hast Imam complex preserve older Tashkent.
