Toktogul
Toktogul is a district town on the northern edge of the vast Toktogul Reservoir, the largest in Kyrgyzstan. Named after the great Kyrgyz bard Toktogul Satylganov, the area combines hydroelectric infrastructure with rugged hill country and is a common road-stop on the Bishkek-to-Osh transcontinental route.
